After being inspired by a visit to Cornwall in the summer of 2019, I decided to put my trusty camera aside and pick up a paint brush having not painted since I was at school too many decades ago to think about.

Raised in Ayrshire, on the West coast of Scotland, I have always had a deep love of the coast so most of my art portrays the coastal beauty around these isles…or simply in my head.

I started with watercolour but, after trying several different media, I find that I have been drawn to acrylic and oil which are now my main mediums although I do still create art using watercolour, pastels, and charcoal.

Now based in Lincolnshire.
